Key Responsibilities:
- Support the holistic development of children in cognitive, emotional, and creative areas.
- Deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that promote independence and social skills.
- Monitor and document children’s progress, including language development and overall growth.
- Prepare and conduct parent meetings to keep families informed and involved.
- Complete 10 hours of professional development annually to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children through the key person approach.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Implement the Berlin Bridging Diversity Programme to ensure all children feel valued and respected.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Background in childcare, including vocational training, a study degree, or relevant work experience.
- In-depth knowledge of child protection obligations.
- Experience in early childhood education, with a passion for working with young children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred
- Experience working in a bilingual or international setting.
- Demonstrated motivation to learn and develop German language proficiency.
- Familiarity with the immersion teaching method.
- Experience with the Berlin Bridging Diversity Programme.
Compensation & Benefits:
