Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the holistic development of children in cognitive, emotional, and creative areas.
  • Deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that promote independence and social skills.
  • Monitor and document children’s progress, including language development and overall growth.
  • Prepare and conduct parent meetings to keep families informed and involved.
  • Complete 10 hours of professional development annually to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children through the key person approach.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Implement the Berlin Bridging Diversity Programme to ensure all children feel valued and respected.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Background in childcare, including vocational training, a study degree, or relevant work experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of child protection obligations.
  • Experience in early childhood education, with a passion for working with young children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a bilingual or international setting.
  • Demonstrated motivation to learn and develop German language proficiency.
  • Familiarity with the immersion teaching method.
  • Experience with the Berlin Bridging Diversity Programme.
