The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Years Practitioner or Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team dedicated to nurturing young learners. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on children's early education within a collaborative and flexible setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support high-quality teaching and learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting.
  • Work closely with Pre-Prep staff to ensure every child is nurtured and challenged.
  • Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to the needs of young learners.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
  • Contribute to the development of individualized learning plans and progress tracking.
  • Support children in transitioning between different learning stages and settings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a cohesive and supportive team culture.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or a related field.
  • Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to child development and inclusive education.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work across different areas of the school.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or early years setting.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Experience with teaching assistants or supporting classroom activities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
