The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Early Years Teacher to join our Pre-School team. This role offers the chance to inspire and nurture young learners in a supportive and inclusive environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality education aligned with the EYFS curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons across the EYFS age and ability range.
  • Create a stimulating and safe learning environment that promotes the well-being and development of children.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality approach to teaching and care.
  • Monitor and assess children’s progress in line with the EYFS Statutory Framework.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and carers to support children’s learning and development.
  • Participate in the delivery of a co-curricular programme that enriches the educational experience.
  • Support the school’s commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of work.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions to ensure continued professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
  • Proven experience in early years education and a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and Statutory Framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school setting, particularly within a co-educational environment.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Knowledge of child development and play-based learning approaches.
  • Flexibility to work term time only, with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload.
