Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of neurodiverse learners across various age groups and abilities.
- Provide pastoral support as a tutor, monitoring student well-being and guiding personal development.
- Advocate for neurodiversity and special educational needs (SEN) within the school and across the teaching community.
- Collaborate with subject teachers to develop strategies that support the unique needs of students.
- Contribute to co-curricular, digital literacy, and supra-curriculum initiatives to enhance student development.
- Uphold the highest professional standards and continuously seek innovative teaching practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of neurodiversity and special educational needs (SEN).
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Preferred
- Experience in inclusive education or working with neurodiverse learners.
- Background in pastoral care or student support.
- Experience with digital learning tools and initiatives.
- Involvement in co-curricular or extra-curricular activities.
