Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of neurodiverse learners across various age groups and abilities.
  • Provide pastoral support as a tutor, monitoring student well-being and guiding personal development.
  • Advocate for neurodiversity and special educational needs (SEN) within the school and across the teaching community.
  • Collaborate with subject teachers to develop strategies that support the unique needs of students.
  • Contribute to co-curricular, digital literacy, and supra-curriculum initiatives to enhance student development.
  • Uphold the highest professional standards and continuously seek innovative teaching practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of neurodiversity and special educational needs (SEN).
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in inclusive education or working with neurodiverse learners.
  • Background in pastoral care or student support.
  • Experience with digital learning tools and initiatives.
  • Involvement in co-curricular or extra-curricular activities.
