Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching and learning across the department.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.

• Stay up to date with developments in the field of English and Media education.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through pastoral support and community engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in teaching English and Media at sixth form level.
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding lessons that inspire student success.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for English and Media education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to student welfare and personal development.
• Experience in curriculum design and assessment.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching A Level or BTEC courses.
• Familiarity with digital and media tools in the classroom.
• Experience with pastoral care and student support.
• Background in extra-curricular leadership or club management.
• Knowledge of careers guidance and university preparation.
