The Opportunity:

As a PSHE Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality personal, social, health, and economic education to students across Key Stages 2, 3, and 4. You will help shape the PSHE curriculum and support initiatives that promote student wellbeing and readiness for life beyond school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging PSHE lessons that support student development and resilience.
  • Lead the development and evaluation of the PSHE curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all students.
  • Support whole-school initiatives such as enrichment activities, assemblies, and drop-down days.
  • Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies, ensuring student welfare is a priority.
  • Contribute to departmental and whole-school meetings focused on student education and wellbeing.
  • Provide line management where required and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Degree-level education
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience delivering a curriculum related to PSHE

Preferred

  • Experience in therapeutic or special needs education
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Experience with safeguarding and pastoral care
