As an English Teacher in Middle and High School, you will play a key role in preparing students for high-stakes examinations, including the International French Baccalaureate and A-level equivalent assessments. Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English Language and English Literature within the framework of the International British Section of the French National Curriculum
• Prepare students for high-stakes external examinations, including the International French Baccalaureate
• Design engaging, rigorous and well-structured lessons that develop students’ linguistic accuracy, critical thinking and literary analysis skills
• Foster a positive, respectful and stimulating classroom environment
• Support students’ academic progress, confidence and personal development
• Assess, track and report on student progress in line with curriculum expectations
• Contribute actively to departmental collaboration and wider school life

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Master’s degree in English, English Literature or English Teaching
• Proven teaching experience in Middle and/or High School
• Experience in a French system, British Section or international school

Preferred

• Experience preparing students for external or advanced-level examinations
• Strong subject knowledge and high academic expectations
• Enthusiasm for working in an international, multicultural setting
