The Opportunity:

As a Primary English Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping young learners within a bilingual and innovative educational setting. You will work closely with a French homeroom teacher to deliver a dynamic and engaging English curriculum aligned with the French National Curriculum and international best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate English lessons aligned with the French National Curriculum
  • Collaborate with a French homeroom teacher to ensure a cohesive and progressive bilingual learning experience
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports student wellbeing
  • Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development through personalized instruction
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with students, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to school life and participate in pedagogical reflection and professional development
  • Ensure continuity and coherence in bilingual teaching and learning
  • Stay up to date with current educational trends and best practices in primary education

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Primary Education or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of successful teaching experience, preferably with children aged 3 to 10
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Native-level or fully fluent in English

Preferred

  • Experience teaching in an international or bilingual school environment
  • Familiarity with the Cambridge International Program
  • Experience with co-homeroom teaching models
  • Demonstrated commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive education
