The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across KS3, iGCSE, and IBDP curricula.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Design and implement lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs.
  • Support student progress through regular assessment and feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and curriculum development.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, critical thinking, and independent learning.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
  • PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong command of the English language with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in teaching English at secondary level.
  • Ability to plan and deliver lessons aligned with UK-GCSE and IBDP standards.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
  • Experience with bilingual education environments.
  • Knowledge of Spanish curriculum standards is an advantage.
  • Experience in a British or international school setting.
