The Opportunity:
Join a dynamic English department and inspire students across Key Stage 3, iGCSE, and IBDP levels. This role offers the opportunity to shape young minds and deliver a curriculum that fosters academic excellence, creativity, and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across KS3, iGCSE, and IBDP curricula.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Design and implement lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs.
- Support student progress through regular assessment and feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and curriculum development.
- Foster a culture of curiosity, critical thinking, and independent learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
- PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in teaching English at secondary level.
- Ability to plan and deliver lessons aligned with UK-GCSE and IBDP standards.
Preferred
- Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
- Experience with bilingual education environments.
- Knowledge of Spanish curriculum standards is an advantage.
- Experience in a British or international school setting.
