The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified ICT and Computer Science Teacher to join our dynamic team. This role involves delivering high-quality instruction across KS3, KS4, and KS5, including IGCSE and A-Level courses. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of students through innovative and engaging teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality ICT and Computer Science lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the British National Curriculum and Steiner-Waldorf principles.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to school events and initiatives.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students as required, including tutor responsibilities for a Key Stage group.
  • Incorporate Mindfulness and other holistic practices into teaching where appropriate.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in ICT and Computer Science education and integrate new technologies into the curriculum.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and the wider school community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Fully qualified teacher status (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) with documented experience in the British National Curriculum.
  • Exceptional English communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Valid EU work permit; unable to sponsor visa applications.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching IGCSE and A-Level (Edexcel/Pearson and/or Cambridge).
  • Knowledge of Steiner-Waldorf pedagogy.
  • Experience incorporating Mindfulness into teaching practices.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish.
