The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic and qualified Music Teacher to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of students across Key Stages 2, 3, and 4. This role offers the chance to work in a vibrant, international school that values creativity, collaboration, and holistic development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality music education aligned with the British National Curriculum and Steiner-Waldorf principles.
- Plan and implement engaging, creative lessons that encourage artistic expression and musical development.
- Support students in developing performance skills and a deep appreciation for music.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the school’s overall educational ethos and community engagement.
- Promote the school’s values and mission within the wider community.
- Participate in school events, parent meetings, and other activities that enhance the learning environment.
- Integrate mindfulness practices into teaching where appropriate.
- Assist with the development and delivery of additional subjects if applicable.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Fully qualified teacher with experience in the British National Curriculum (PGCE or QTS).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to teach confidently in English.
- A team player who is enthusiastic about promoting the school within the wider community.
- Commitment to holistic and Steiner-Waldorf inspired education.
Preferred
- Experience teaching IGCSE/BTEC (Edexcel/Cambridge) Music.
- Ability to teach an additional subject.
- Knowledge or experience in Steiner-Waldorf pedagogy.
- Interest in integrating mindfulness practices into education.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish.
- Being an active musician.
- Possession of an EU work permit.
