Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain audiovisual and technical equipment for events and performances.
- Support the setup, operation, and breakdown of event spaces and technical systems.
- Collaborate with staff and students to ensure smooth execution of events and training sessions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.
- Provide guidance and training to students on the use of technical equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is stored and maintained to a high standard.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of event and media-related programs.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events in collaboration with relevant departments.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in managing technical equipment for events or media-related activities.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Preferred
- Previous experience in a further education or training setting.
- Knowledge of audiovisual and lighting systems.
- Experience with event coordination or production.
- Relevant qualifications in media, events, or technical support.
