As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and smooth running of examinations. Your responsibilities will include monitoring students during exams, maintaining a secure and focused environment, and adhering to strict protocols. Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor students during examinations to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
  • Maintain a calm, secure, and focused environment throughout the examination period.
  • Report any incidents or irregularities to the relevant authority immediately.
  • Ensure all examination materials are handled securely and returned as instructed.
  • Follow all procedures and guidelines provided by the school and examination authorities.
  • Assist with the setup and organization of examination rooms.
  • Support the smooth administration of exams, including the collection and distribution of materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of exam-related activities and communications.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in exam invigilation or a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Fluency in spoken English (essential for this role).
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of examination regulations and procedures.
  • Experience with online or digital examinations.
  • Flexibility to work during exam periods and outside of regular hours when necessary.
  • Experience with safeguarding and child protection policies.
