Exam Invigilator required for term time work, primarily during summer exams.

The Opportunity:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and fair administration of examinations. Your work will help create an environment where students can perform to the best of their ability, in line with the school’s commitment to academic integrity and student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer examinations in accordance with regulations and guidelines
  • Ensure the confidentiality of examination papers throughout the process
  • Set up and manage examination rooms as instructed
  • Record attendance accurately and distribute examination materials
  • Manage late arrivals and handle special arrangements for students as required
  • Supervise examinations, respond to student inquiries, and maintain a calm and focused environment
  • Report any irregular conduct or behavioral issues to the Examinations Officer
  • Collect and return all examination materials and scripts to the Examinations Office

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in exam invigilation or similar administrative roles
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an educational setting
  • Familiarity with examination systems and procedures
  • Experience with special arrangements for students
  • Flexibility to work variable hours during term time
