The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join a supportive team. This role offers the opportunity to inspire and challenge students from Reception to Sixth Form across a range of sports, with a specialism in Hockey being an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Physical Education to students from Reception to Sixth Form across a range of sports.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that align with the school’s academic and co-curricular goals.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of extra-curricular sports and fixtures.
  • Support students in developing both physical and personal skills.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Physical Education curriculum.
  • Engage in and contribute to the wider school community through co-curricular activities.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Physical Education.
  • Ability to teach across a range of sports.
  • Experience working with students from Reception to Sixth Form.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Specialism in Hockey.
  • Experience in Outdoor Adventurous Education.
  • Ability to teach at both GCSE and A Level.
  • Experience with the Edexcel and AQA specifications.
