The Opportunity:
As an Exam Invigilator, you will ensure the integrity and security of examinations, following guidelines and regulations during exam sessions. This role is ideal for someone who values attention to detail and a strong commitment to educational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and supervise examination sessions to ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations.
- Ensure the security and integrity of examination papers and procedures.
- Monitor candidates to prevent malpractice and maintain a fair and secure environment.
- Report any irregularities or concerns to the appropriate authority.
- Assist in the setup and administration of examinations as required.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to examinations.
- Support the smooth running of examination periods, including pre and post-exam procedures.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure a consistent and professional approach to invigilation.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in exam invigilation or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Commitment to safeguarding and maintaining a secure environment for students.
Preferred
- Previous experience in an educational setting.
- Familiarity with exam regulations and procedures.
- Experience with online or remote invigilation methods.
- Flexibility to work on a casual, as-and-when-required basis.
