The Opportunity:

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, welcoming, and functional environment across the school. This role is crucial to the school’s operations, ensuring that all staff, students, and visitors can thrive in a secure and well-maintained setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate site staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee and maintain the Health & Safety system, including regular inspections and record-keeping.
  • Ensure the security of the school premises, facilities, and property, including key holder responsibilities.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure all tests and inspections are completed efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of staff and external contractors.
  • Monitor and manage the condition of school buildings and grounds.
  • Support the delivery of a safe and welcoming environment for students and visitors.
  • Work flexibly to meet the needs of the school throughout the year.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in site management or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in managing and leading a team of staff.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, security, and safety.

Preferred

  • Experience in an educational setting or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of building maintenance and facilities management.
  • Experience with key holder responsibilities and security systems.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard hours when required.
