The Opportunity:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and smooth operation of the examination process. Your responsibilities will include setting up venues, ensuring exam security, and overseeing students during exams. Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up examination venues with appropriate resources and ensure all materials are in place.
  • Maintain the security of exam papers and ensure all exam conditions are strictly followed.
  • Record student attendance and report any absences to the Exams and Data Manager.
  • Instruct students on exam board requirements before the exams begin.
  • Oversee the supervision of students during exams and ensure a quiet and focused environment.
  • Ensure the smooth delivery of exams by adhering to agreed commitments and deadlines.
  • Maintain clear communication with the Exams and Data Manager throughout the process.
  • Support the overall success of the exams season for students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to be punctual and reliable.
  • Commitment to the role and willingness to take on agreed responsibilities.
  • Willingness to complete required training and statutory requirements.
  • Experience working with young people or in a similar setting is advantageous.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an invigilation or educational setting.
  • Experience in managing multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Familiarity with exam procedures and requirements.
  • Flexibility to work during exam periods as required.
