The Opportunity:
We are seeking an Exam Invigilator to ensure the integrity of examination sessions and provide a reassuring presence to students. This role is essential in maintaining the security of examination papers and ensuring all students have an equal opportunity to demonstrate their abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the integrity and security of examination papers during sessions.
- Provide a calm and supportive presence to students throughout the examination process.
- Monitor and enforce examination rules and procedures consistently.
- Assist with the setup and management of examination rooms.
- Maintain accurate records of examination-related activities.
- Support the smooth running of exams during key periods (January, April, May, and June).
- Communicate effectively with students and staff to resolve any issues promptly.
- Adhere to all school policies and procedures related to examinations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Willingness to work during exam periods (January, April, May, and June).
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to upholding exam integrity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- No formal qualifications required, though experience in a school or examination setting is preferred.
Preferred
- Previous experience in a school environment or with examinations.
- Familiarity with exam procedures and regulations.
- Experience working with young people in an educational setting.
