The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Exam Invigilator to ensure the integrity of examination sessions and provide a reassuring presence to students. This role is essential in maintaining the security of examination papers and ensuring all students have an equal opportunity to demonstrate their abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the integrity and security of examination papers during sessions.
  • Provide a calm and supportive presence to students throughout the examination process.
  • Monitor and enforce examination rules and procedures consistently.
  • Assist with the setup and management of examination rooms.
  • Maintain accurate records of examination-related activities.
  • Support the smooth running of exams during key periods (January, April, May, and June).
  • Communicate effectively with students and staff to resolve any issues promptly.
  • Adhere to all school policies and procedures related to examinations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Willingness to work during exam periods (January, April, May, and June).
  • Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to upholding exam integrity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • No formal qualifications required, though experience in a school or examination setting is preferred.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a school environment or with examinations.
  • Familiarity with exam procedures and regulations.
  • Experience working with young people in an educational setting.
