The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Examination Invigilator to ensure the smooth running of public examinations during the Summer term. This role is ideal for someone who is punctual, reliable, and able to follow instructions carefully.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the secure and orderly conduct of public examinations in accordance with exam board guidelines.
  • Monitor candidates to prevent malpractice and maintain the integrity of the examination process.
  • Assist with the distribution and collection of examination materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of examination sessions and report any issues promptly.
  • Attend mandatory training sessions to ensure full understanding of examination procedures.
  • Adhere to the school’s policies and procedures at all times.
  • Support the examination team with any additional tasks as required.
  • Ensure a calm and professional environment for all candidates.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings and afternoons.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a school or examination setting.
  • Experience in invigilating or working with young people.
  • Familiarity with exam procedures and regulations.
