Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons tailored to the needs of girls.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sports programme that supports student participation and achievement.
- Coordinate and supervise extracurricular sports activities, including after-school clubs and competitions.
- Work collaboratively with other PE specialists and support staff to enhance the school’s sporting reputation.
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment that encourages physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
- Monitor and assess student progress in PE, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Maintain up-to-date records and reports on student performance and participation.
- Participate in staff development and training opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Girls PE.
- Strong knowledge of physical education and sports curriculum.
- Experience in delivering PE lessons to secondary school students.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage a range of sporting activities.
- Commitment to promoting inclusivity and student well-being.
Preferred
- Experience in coaching or leading sports teams.
- Familiarity with a wide range of sports and physical activities.
- Previous experience in a school setting with a strong focus on PE and sports.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
