The Opportunity:
As a Fundraising Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the school’s Alumnae and Development programme. This is a key position for someone passionate about building relationships and driving fundraising initiatives that contribute to the school’s continued success and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support the school’s mission and goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with alumni, donors, and community members.
- Plan and execute fundraising events, ensuring they align with the school’s vision and objectives.
- Manage and update donor databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Create engaging content and reports to communicate the impact of fundraising efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a cohesive and effective fundraising programme.
- Identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities across global networks.
- Provide exceptional stewardship to donors and alumni, ensuring meaningful and lasting connections.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in fundraising, event planning, and delivery.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with CRM or database systems and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to produce engaging content and reports.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Preferred
- Experience in the independent or education sector.
- Familiarity with the work of alumnae and development programmes.
- Knowledge of fundraising best practices and current trends.
