The Opportunity:

As a Fundraising Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the school’s Alumnae and Development programme. This is a key position for someone passionate about building relationships and driving fundraising initiatives that contribute to the school’s continued success and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support the school’s mission and goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with alumni, donors, and community members.
  • Plan and execute fundraising events, ensuring they align with the school’s vision and objectives.
  • Manage and update donor databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Create engaging content and reports to communicate the impact of fundraising efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a cohesive and effective fundraising programme.
  • Identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities across global networks.
  • Provide exceptional stewardship to donors and alumni, ensuring meaningful and lasting connections.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in fundraising, event planning, and delivery.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM or database systems and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to produce engaging content and reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience in the independent or education sector.
  • Familiarity with the work of alumnae and development programmes.
  • Knowledge of fundraising best practices and current trends.
