Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Geography lessons that engage and challenge students across all key stages.

  • Support students in achieving their full potential through individualized feedback and targeted intervention.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the department.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the school.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, ensuring that all learners are supported effectively.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students.
  • Engage with the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Geography or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 2 and 3.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s values-based education philosophy.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with cross-curricular teaching and project-based learning.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Experience in developing and leading curriculum initiatives.
  • Experience with using technology in the classroom to enhance learning.
