The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching to individuals and small groups in line with the school’s curriculum and policies
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress, ensuring targeted interventions and support are in place
  • Develop and implement personalised learning programmes tailored to each pupil’s needs
  • Create, review and manage Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies collaboratively
  • Support the school’s development initiatives and contribute to whole-school improvement
  • Promote pupils’ academic, social, emotional, and moral development in a structured and supportive environment
  • Coordinate teaching, assessment, and reporting across key stages as directed
  • Organise and maintain a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills
  • Commitment to inclusive education and working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Knowledge of autism and complex needs
  • Experience with evidence-based teaching strategies

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary up to £45,000 per annum
  • Welcome bonus of £1,250 after 6 months and £1,250 after 12 months
