As a SEN Primary Teacher, you will inspire and support pupils with special educational needs to achieve their academic and personal goals. This is a unique opportunity to work in a specialist setting that celebrates individual progress and fosters a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching to individuals and small groups in line with the school’s curriculum and policies
- Monitor and report on pupil progress, ensuring targeted interventions and support are in place
- Develop and implement personalised learning programmes tailored to each pupil’s needs
- Create, review and manage Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies collaboratively
- Support the school’s development initiatives and contribute to whole-school improvement
- Promote pupils’ academic, social, emotional, and moral development in a structured and supportive environment
- Coordinate teaching, assessment, and reporting across key stages as directed
- Organise and maintain a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with children with special educational needs
- Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills
- Commitment to inclusive education and working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Preferred
- Experience in developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Knowledge of autism and complex needs
- Experience with evidence-based teaching strategies
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary up to £45,000 per annum
- Welcome bonus of £1,250 after 6 months and £1,250 after 12 months
