Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Geography lessons that engage and challenge students across Key Stages 3–5
- Create stimulating and inclusive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
- Foster a positive learning environment through effective classroom management
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Geography curriculum
- Support students in achieving academic success and personal development
- Participate in professional development and school improvement initiatives
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events
- Maintain accurate records and assess student progress regularly
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven ability to create engaging and inclusive lesson plans
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication skills with students and colleagues
- Commitment to student success and high academic standards
Preferred
- Experience teaching Geography at Key Stages 3–5
- Experience with curriculum development or leadership in teaching
- Experience with inclusive education practices
- Experience with assessment and student progress tracking
