The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Greek Teacher to join the Junior School team, delivering high-quality education to students in Year 1–6. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners and contribute to a dynamic, forward-thinking school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver engaging lessons in Greek to students across all Key Stages.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support and intervention strategies.
- Develop and maintain effective behaviour management strategies in the classroom.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of the school’s curriculum and co-curricular activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and set individual learning targets.
- Support the school’s mission and values through teaching and pastoral care.
- Participate in professional development and staff meetings.
- Uphold the school’s safeguarding and child protection policies at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Recognised Greek teaching qualification (φιλόλογος).
- Excellent teaching skills and knowledge of modern teaching methods.
- Ability to teach across all Key Stages.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in ICT.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Ability to assess and track student progress effectively.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching both native and non-native Greek speakers.
- Resilience and a willingness to contribute to school life and extra-curricular activities.
