Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Physics department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
- Develop and implement a dynamic and challenging Physics curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
- Support and mentor Physics teachers, providing professional development and guidance.
- Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring continuous improvement in academic outcomes.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance cross-curricular learning and student engagement.
- Represent the department at staff meetings, parent evenings, and external events.
- Stay up to date with developments in Physics education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being and achievement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a strong background in Physics.
- Proven leadership experience in a school or college setting.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students and staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development and department leadership.
