Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure the school continues to deliver high-quality education and student outcomes.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive school culture that promotes the well-being and achievement of all pupils.
  • Work closely with the governing body, staff, parents, and the wider community to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Develop and implement a dynamic curriculum that meets the needs of all learners and supports their academic and personal growth.
  • Manage and support a dedicated and passionate teaching and support staff team.
  • Ensure compliance with all safeguarding and legal requirements, maintaining a safe and secure learning environment.
  • Promote and celebrate the achievements of students, staff, and the wider school community.
  • Lead and manage the school’s day-to-day operations, including resource allocation, staffing, and school development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a Headteacher or in a senior leadership role within education.
  • Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
  • A deep understanding of educational best practices and current curriculum developments.
  • Experience in driving school improvement and achieving high standards in student outcomes.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • A relevant teaching qualification and leadership experience.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading a large or multi-form entry school.
  • Experience in developing and implementing innovative teaching and learning strategies.
  • Experience with school improvement planning and external inspections.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with governors, parents, and the local community.
  • Experience in managing a large team and delivering high-quality professional development.
