Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons with a focus on Chemistry and Biology.

  • Participate in and lead co-curricular activities related to Science, including educational trips.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum and student outcomes.
  • Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and learning.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Science education and pedagogy.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission of excellence and student development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Science or related field.
  • Experience in teaching Science at a secondary level.
  • Proven ability to raise student achievement and engagement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Specialism in Chemistry and Biology.
  • Experience in independent school settings.
  • Ability to design and lead co-curricular Science activities.
  • Familiarity with The Global Classroom initiative.
  • Experience in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
