Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching and learning by assisting with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students to help them achieve their full potential.
- Work closely with teachers to implement strategies that meet the diverse needs of students.
- Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to the teaching team.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Contribute to the creation of a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
- Proven experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Commitment to the school’s values of inclusivity, care, and student success.
Preferred
- Experience in working with students with additional needs.
- Familiarity with curriculum planning and assessment practices.
- Experience in supporting students’ emotional and social development.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies.
