The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that align with the UK curriculum for History.
  • Support students in achieving academic success at all levels, including A Level.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the History department.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and community initiatives.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through shared leadership and professional development opportunities.
  • Stay up to date with developments in History education and pedagogy.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
  • Strong knowledge of the UK History curriculum
  • Proven ability to engage and inspire students
  • Commitment to student success and academic growth

Preferred

  • Experience teaching A Level History
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality lessons
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment
