Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver an engaging and effective Maths curriculum across all key stages.
- Support student progress and achievement, with a focus on raising standards and attainment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and develop teaching strategies.
- Manage classroom effectively, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in departmental and whole-school events, including extra-curricular activities.
- Promote the Catholic ethos and values of the school within the classroom and wider community.
- Contribute to the development of the new state-of-the-art school opening in 2026.
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Maths education.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver an engaging curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- Commitment to the Catholic ethos of the school.
- Willingness to teach across all key stages and ability ranges.
Preferred
- Experience in a Catholic school or with pastoral care.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
- Experience with extra-curricular activities or leadership roles.
- Experience with safeguarding and student support.
