Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an engaging and effective Maths curriculum across all key stages.
  • Support student progress and achievement, with a focus on raising standards and attainment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and develop teaching strategies.
  • Manage classroom effectively, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in departmental and whole-school events, including extra-curricular activities.
  • Promote the Catholic ethos and values of the school within the classroom and wider community.
  • Contribute to the development of the new state-of-the-art school opening in 2026.
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Maths education.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver an engaging curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to the Catholic ethos of the school.
  • Willingness to teach across all key stages and ability ranges.

Preferred

  • Experience in a Catholic school or with pastoral care.
  • Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
  • Experience with extra-curricular activities or leadership roles.
  • Experience with safeguarding and student support.
