The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and eager HR Apprentice to join our expanding HR team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of HR functions, including learning and development, operations, resourcing, and reward. You will play an active role in supporting the school’s HR operations and be fully supported in your professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the HR team in providing advice, guidance, and support to staff across the Group.
  • Assist in developing and analyzing people data to inform decision-making.
  • Help attract, select, and onboard new talent into the school Group.
  • Contribute to learning, development, and training initiatives.
  • Assist in the administration of HR systems and processes.
  • Support the implementation of policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Collaborate with departments across the school to deliver effective HR solutions.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues across the organisation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A positive, “can-do” attitude and willingness to get involved
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Level 3 qualification (A-Levels or equivalent)
  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above)
  • Full driving licence

Preferred

  • Experience with HR systems or processes
  • Interest in pursuing further HR qualifications
  • Experience in learning and development or employee relations

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive starting salary between £18,000 – £24,785
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (with option to buy/sell up to 5 days)
