Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and rigorous humanities lessons to Upper Primary students.
  • Collaborate with Learning Enhancement Teachers to ensure student understanding and success.
  • Develop interdisciplinary lessons that integrate subjects like drama and history.
  • Foster meaningful relationships with students to support their academic and personal growth.
  • Guide students in developing critical thinking, personal responsibility, and intellectual curiosity.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices in education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in your subject area, with Elementary and Early Education degrees also valued.
  • At least two years of experience as a lead teacher in a classroom.
  • Commitment to maintaining and enhancing the rigor of international education.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based, co-teaching environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with bilingual or international curricula.
  • Background in curriculum development or lesson planning.
  • Experience in teaching English language arts and history.
  • Familiarity with drama or interdisciplinary teaching methods.
  • Experience in a multicultural or international school setting.
