Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in IB Global Politics, IB History, and IB Economics.
- Collaborate with teaching teams to develop and implement effective instructional strategies.
- Provide regular feedback to students and parents through the Continuous Reporting system.
- Use data to monitor student progress and refine teaching practices.
- Build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Support the development of a culture of high expectations and academic achievement.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into the classroom.
- Contribute to the broader learning community through professional development and collaboration.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.
- Rights to work in Australia.
- Demonstrated expertise in IB Global Politics, IB History, and IB Economics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and planning abilities.
- Commitment to student learning and wellbeing.
- Ability to use data to improve student outcomes.
- Adherence to child safety standards and school policies.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Year 7-10 Commerce or Humanities.
- Experience with evidence-based teaching practices.
- Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) program.
- Experience in a co-ed or diverse learning environment.
- Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills.
