Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the ICT and Computer Science department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum aligned with IGCSE and IB standards.
• Oversee the professional development of departmental staff and support their growth.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing targeted feedback and guidance.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate technology across the curriculum.
• Maintain strong relationships with parents and the wider school community.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in the field of computer science.
• Ensure all teaching and learning activities comply with the school's academic and operational standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Relevant degree from a recognized university and a teaching certificate.
• Minimum of three years of direct teaching experience in a similar school setting.
• Proven experience in teaching ICT and Computer Science at the secondary level.
• Strong leadership and management skills with experience in a departmental leadership role.
• Familiarity with IGCSE and IB curricula.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching IGCSE and IB Computer Science qualifications.
• Background in Digital Society or related subjects.
• Experience with international education standards and cross-cultural collaboration.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
