Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Biology or Chemistry at KS3 and IB levels, delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student learning and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance pedagogical practice across the school.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes student well-being and academic success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Biology or Chemistry at KS3 and IB levels.
  • Excellent teaching record with evidence of impact on student learning.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse and international environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in an international school or similar educational setting.
  • Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) or Cambridge curricula.
  • Demonstrated leadership and initiative in developing teaching and learning practices.
  • Familiarity with continual assessment and self-evaluation processes.
