The Opportunity:

We are seeking an IT Technician to provide essential IT support to staff and students across the school. This role is crucial in ensuring that all IT systems run smoothly and efficiently, supporting both teaching and learning. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and committed to delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and support all IT hardware, software, and associated equipment.
• Respond to helpdesk queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide technical assistance to staff and pupils across all departments.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the school’s IT systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement IT solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of all IT-related activities and incidents.
• Assist with the planning and execution of IT projects and upgrades.
• Support the school’s digital learning initiatives and training programmes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Some experience in a similar IT support role.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of IT hardware and software systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work part-time hours, including some Saturday mornings.

Preferred

• Experience in an educational setting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other common software.
• Understanding of network infrastructure and security.
• Experience with teaching or supporting digital learning tools.
