The Opportunity:
A Key Stage 2 Class Teacher Full-Time is needed to join a dynamic and supportive school community. This role involves teaching a Key Stage 2 class and contributing to the academic, pastoral, and co-curricular life of the school. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach a Key Stage 2 class with a focus on high-quality classroom practice and student engagement.
- Contribute to the academic and pastoral development of students, promoting their confidence and well-being.
- Deliver a broad and balanced curriculum, incorporating both core subjects and co-curricular activities.
- Support the school’s co-curricular programme by participating in extracurricular and boarding activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Provide regular feedback to students and parents, ensuring strong communication and involvement.
- Take responsibility for classroom management and the creation of a positive learning environment.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities offered by the school.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Key Stage 2 or clear potential for Early Career Teachers.
- Strong classroom management and teaching skills.
- Commitment to student well-being and pastoral care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take on additional responsibilities.
Preferred
- Experience with boarding or residential school environments.
- Familiarity with Common Entrance preparation and independent school entry processes.
- Experience with extracurricular or co-curricular programme delivery.
- Previous experience in a small school or independent school setting.
