The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Key Stage 2, with a focus on science, RE, and IT.
  • Support the development of students’ academic and personal growth in a co-educational environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and curriculum delivery.
  • Participate in the full life of the school, including extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission and values through professional conduct and leadership.
  • Stay up to date with educational trends and best practices in teaching and learning.
  • Support the school’s commitment to inclusivity and diversity in all aspects of teaching and learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Key Stage 2 education.
  • Strong subject knowledge in science, RE, and IT.
  • Commitment to Jesuit values and Catholic education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and take on additional responsibilities.

Preferred

  • Experience in a co-educational boarding school setting.
  • Familiarity with the Jesuit tradition and Catholic ethos.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
  • Fluency in additional languages or experience with international students.
