Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in German to Key Stage 4 and either French or Spanish to Key Stage 3 or above.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with students and colleagues to support learning and development.
  • Contribute to the success of the Languages department through collaboration and resource sharing.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school trips to enrich the student experience.
  • Stay up to date with curriculum developments and incorporate new teaching strategies and technologies.
  • Support students in achieving excellent academic results and personal growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Languages at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge in German and either French or Spanish.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to student achievement and personal development.
  • Willingness to contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities.

Preferred

  • Experience with digital learning platforms and technologies.
  • Experience in leading or supporting departmental initiatives.
  • Background in pastoral care or student support.
  • Experience with teaching English as a Second Language (ESOL).
