The Opportunity:

As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students during lunchtime across the school premises. This is a part-time, permanent position that offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students during lunchtime in the dining room, playground, and throughout the school premises.
  • Ensure the safety, behavior, and well-being of all pupils during break and lunch periods.
  • Support the implementation of school policies and procedures related to student conduct and welfare.
  • Assist with the supervision of school events and activities during lunchtimes.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
  • Monitor and report any incidents or concerns to appropriate staff members.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive culture during all student interactions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in supervising children in a school or educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Commitment to student safety and well-being.
  • Reliability and punctuality.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a school or educational environment.
  • Knowledge of child behavior and development.
  • Experience with school policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility to work term time only and on a part-time basis.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Part-time, permanent position with term-time working (38 weeks).
