The Opportunity:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of the school by supervising student learning, assisting with classroom activities, and maintaining a positive learning environment. This role is essential in ensuring that students continue to make progress even in the absence of their usual teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise student learning in the absence of teaching staff.
• Assist students with set activities and provide general support in the classroom.
• Uphold and maintain high standards of student behaviour and discipline.
• Collaborate with teaching and support staff across departments.
• Use ICT tools and software to support learning and administrative tasks.
• Respond to student questions and provide guidance as needed.
• Contribute to the overall success of the school by ensuring a productive learning environment.
• Support the school in maintaining its commitment to student achievement and development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience working with students in an educational setting.
• Ability to manage a classroom and maintain discipline.
• ICT literacy and the ability to use a variety of software packages.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to student welfare and learning outcomes.

Preferred

• Previous experience in a teaching or support role within a school.
• Experience with curriculum delivery or classroom management.
• Familiarity with educational technology and online learning platforms.
