The Opportunity:
A Mathematics Teacher is needed to deliver high-quality lessons to students aged 11–18, with a focus on GCSE and A Level. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and innovative academic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Mathematics lessons across the 11–18 age range.
- Support students in achieving strong academic outcomes at GCSE and A Level.
- Contribute to the development of the Mathematics curriculum and co-curricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices.
- Provide pastoral care and mentorship to students as required.
- Participate in departmental meetings and school events.
- Maintain accurate records and assessments of student progress.
- Stay up to date with developments in Mathematics education and pedagogy.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience.
- Ability to teach Mathematics across the full secondary age range.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
- Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Further Mathematics.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience in a boarding or day school setting.
- Leadership or mentoring experience within a school environment.
