Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons up to Key Stage 5, aligned with the British and IB curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and student engagement.
  • Support students through high levels of pastoral care and individualized attention.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Participate fully in all aspects of school life, including extracurricular activities and professional development.
  • Provide regular assessments and feedback to support student progress and achievement.
  • Stay up to date with educational research and best practices in Mathematics teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in a relevant subject, preferably Mathematics.
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the Secondary level.
  • Strong understanding of the British and IB curricula up to Key Stage 5.
  • Commitment to active learning and student-centered teaching methods.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide high levels of pastoral care and support to students.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL/TEFL).
  • Familiarity with Spanish language and culture.
  • Experience working in an international or British curriculum school.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
