Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students of all abilities.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiated instruction and assessment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
  • Participate in professional development and continuous learning opportunities.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and pastoral care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school and statutory requirements.
  • Support the school’s vision and values in all aspects of teaching and learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in teaching mathematics at the secondary level.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching students with diverse learning needs.
  • Experience with teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Familiarity with maths and computing curriculum development.
  • Experience in delivering or supporting extra-curricular activities.
