Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students of all abilities.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiated instruction and assessment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
- Participate in professional development and continuous learning opportunities.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and pastoral care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school and statutory requirements.
- Support the school’s vision and values in all aspects of teaching and learning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in teaching mathematics at the secondary level.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching students with diverse learning needs.
- Experience with teaching English as a Second Language.
- Familiarity with maths and computing curriculum development.
- Experience in delivering or supporting extra-curricular activities.
