Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons that challenge and inspire students.
  • Develop and implement individual learning pathways tailored to student needs.
  • Support students through mentoring, co-curricular projects, and enrichment activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create new learning resources and opportunities.
  • Participate in the school’s appraisal scheme and professional development initiatives.
  • Contribute to the school’s extra-curricular and boarding provision.
  • Supervise students during examinations, breaks, and assemblies.
  • Attend Parents’ Evenings and relevant meetings to support student progress.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Maths education.
  • Experience teaching at GCSE and A Level, including students with EAL and SEN provision.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching A Level Maths.
  • Experience with co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate in teaching and learning.
