The Opportunity:
As an Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing a wide range of events that enhance the school's academic and cultural life. This role offers the chance to work in a vibrant, well-resourced environment and make a meaningful impact on the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver a variety of events, including open days, concerts, galas, academic conferences, and theatrical productions.
- Work closely with the Events Manager and other teams to ensure events run smoothly and meet the school's standards.
- Manage event logistics, including venue booking, equipment, and staffing.
- Communicate effectively with staff, students, and external partners to ensure event success.
- Ensure events are safe, inclusive, and aligned with the school's values and objectives.
- Support the school’s marketing and promotional efforts through event-related activities.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on event attendance, feedback, and outcomes.
- Be flexible and available to work evenings and weekends during term time as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during term time.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of event management software and tools.
- Experience with large-scale or high-profile events.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Understanding of the educational sector and its unique requirements.
