The Opportunity:

As an Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing a wide range of events that enhance the school's academic and cultural life. This role offers the chance to work in a vibrant, well-resourced environment and make a meaningful impact on the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver a variety of events, including open days, concerts, galas, academic conferences, and theatrical productions.
  • Work closely with the Events Manager and other teams to ensure events run smoothly and meet the school's standards.
  • Manage event logistics, including venue booking, equipment, and staffing.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and external partners to ensure event success.
  • Ensure events are safe, inclusive, and aligned with the school's values and objectives.
  • Support the school’s marketing and promotional efforts through event-related activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on event attendance, feedback, and outcomes.
  • Be flexible and available to work evenings and weekends during term time as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in event planning and coordination.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during term time.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of event management software and tools.
  • Experience with large-scale or high-profile events.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Understanding of the educational sector and its unique requirements.
