Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to students across all key stages.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that promote student understanding and achievement.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and enhance teaching and learning across the department.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and targeted support where needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS).
  • Proven experience in teaching maths at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
  • Experience in developing and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the curriculum.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching a range of ability levels, including GCSE and A Level.
  • Familiarity with assessment for learning strategies and data-driven teaching.
  • Experience working in a school with a strong Christian ethos and values.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
