Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan and deliver effective and high-quality learning experiences for all students.
- Be accountable for the learning and achievement of all students you teach.
- Inspire, motivate and enthuse pupils to develop their linguistic skills.
- Use technology to enhance teaching and learning and encourage innovation in the classroom.
- Lead initiatives and demonstrate a clear impact on student progress and achievement.
- Support the school’s mission by promoting a positive and inclusive learning culture.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events that enrich the student experience.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience teaching across key stages, including primary and secondary levels.
- Consistently good or outstanding teaching ability with high expectations of learning and behaviour.
- Strong classroom management and delivery skills.
- Commitment to raising standards and a passion for making a difference in education.
- Proficiency in using technology for teaching and learning.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Spanish as a second language.
- Experience with the AQA curriculum and the ability to create effective schemes of work.
- Experience leading initiatives or projects within a school setting.
- Experience with international or home-based language visits and enrichment activities.
